Tony and I met when we did our counselling training together in early 2000.
We hit it off right away. I admired Tony's calm, gentle and non judgemental way of being and we enjoyed sharing many stories throughout those years. Tony supported me when I struggled with academic assignments, always encouraging and pointing out my strong points to me.
We kept in touch through future years, meeting for coffee once a month at least. During covid we zoomed. I always looked forward to our chats. I felt very at ease in Tony's company, he was always just himself, no airs or graces. His wisdom, insights and empathetic ways enriched my life.
I shall miss my gentle and wise friend, Tony.
